Pure
It goes without saying that animal welfare is also at the centre of our concerns. The animals are treated with respect and the utmost care and eat exclusively vegetarian food.
Of course, everything is produced according to Islamic laws.
Certification
From farm to plate: the entire production chain is monitored daily with the utmost care. We do this ourselves, as do various internationally active halal certification bodies.
These independent institutes operate according to the strictest internationally recognised guidelines and standards, including those agreed upon by OIC/SMIIC, the world organisation of Islamic countries, as well as Malaysian and Indonesian standards.
We are therefore proud of our Halal certificate.
These independent institutes conduct both announced and unannounced inspections throughout the entire production process. This is how Wahid guarantees halal compliance: independent, transparent and certified worldwide.
Quality
From fresh minced beef to ready-to-eat lahmacun: if you buy one of our products, you can be confident that you are getting the highest quality. We only work with GFSI-certified partners and thus adhere to the strictest production requirements.
Wahid itself is also IFS-certified: we adhere to internationally established standards to ensure food hygiene, safety and production processes.
Halal meat
Wahid produces and sells only halal meat.
We make sure our animals are fed a vegetarian diet.
So you won’t find any pigs, unclean animals or carnivores here.
