Pure
It goes without saying that animal welfare is also at the centre of our concerns. The animals are treated with respect and the utmost care and eat exclusively vegetarian food.
Of course, everything is produced according to Islamic laws.
Certification
From the farm to your plate: the entire production chain is checked daily and with extreme care. We do that ourselves and so does Halal Correct.
This independent institute works according to the strictest internationally recognised guidelines and standards as agreed by OIC/SMIIC, the world organisation of Islamic countries, and the Malaysian and Indonesian standards, among others.
We are therefore proud of our Halal Correct certificate.
Halal Correct carries out both announced and unannounced inspections throughout the production process. This way, Wahid guarantees halal conformity: independent, transparent and certified worldwide.
Quality
From fresh minced beef to ready-to-eat lahmacun: if you buy one of our products, you can be confident that you are getting the highest quality. We only work with GFSI-certified partners and thus adhere to the strictest production requirements.
Wahid itself is also IFS-certified: we adhere to internationally established standards to ensure food hygiene, safety and production processes.
Halal meat
Wahid produces and sells only halal meat.
We make sure our animals are fed a vegetarian diet.
So you won’t find any pigs, unclean animals or carnivores here.
