- Prepare the kebab skewers according to the packet
- Put the bulgur in a bowl and wash it under cold running water. Let it soak for a few minutes.
- Heat some oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and fry until soft and golden brown in colour.
- Add the paprika and parsley and fry together with the onion for 5 minutes until the paprika has softened slightly.
- Add the cumin powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Stir everything well and fry for another 1 minute.
- Add the bulgur and water to the pan and bring to the boil. Stir everything well and turn the heat down to low. Let the bulgur cook gently until all the water is absorbed and the bulgur has softened (this takes about 10-15 minutes).
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the bulgur cool. Stir occasionally to speed up the cooling process.
- Add some more chopped parsley to the cooled bulgur and stir well.
